Do I need a doctor's request?
No. You can walk in and ask for a test. If your doctor has given you a request form, please bring it.
How soon will I get my result?
Most routine laboratory results are ready the same day, and ultrasound reports usually take about 45 minutes. Specialist tests take longer, and we'll tell you the expected date when we take your sample.
Do you offer ultrasound and ECG?
Yes. We offer ultrasound scans, ECG and spirometry at Axis. X-ray and CT are coming soon.
How do I receive my result?
You can collect it in person, or receive it by WhatsApp or email. A secure online results service is planned for the future.
Can you collect my sample at home or at work?
Yes. Send us your location and the tests you need on WhatsApp, and we'll confirm a time and the cost.
How much does a test cost?
Prices depend on the test. Send us your list on WhatsApp or call us, and we'll give you the current price.
How can I pay?
We accept cash and Mobile Money.
Do I need to fast?
Only for some tests. Check our preparation guide on the Services page, or ask us before you come.
Can you test our staff or students?
Yes. We arrange pre-employment, staff and student testing for companies and schools. Contact us with your numbers and the tests you need.
Can Axis work with our hospital?
Yes. We set up diagnostic units inside hospitals with limited laboratory capacity. Message us and we'll arrange a visit.
